The most complete archive of accident reports. Until 1999, there was no US Coast Guard category for "parasail accidents" and therefore accident data was difficult to obtain, This archive collected data for many sources; local authorities i.e. marine patrol, sheriff’s department, state police, park rangers and other agencies. This sections provides types of parasailing accidents and statistics.
Investigative News Reports is a form of journalism in which reporters investigates all aspects of a single topic of topic, in this case parasailing fatalities.  As such, the subjects under scrutiny in this in depth reporting usually wish these matters remain undisclosed.  We have the most comprehensive archive.
It is the responsibility of the Department of Insurance in every State to monitor and prosecute those individuals and/or groups who sell insurance without a license.  Unfortunately there are very savory individuals who have developed methods to circumvent the law, while at the same time remain legitimate in the eyes of unsuspecting parasail and Watersports recreation operators offering extremely low rates.  We offer and in-depth profile of this abuse.
