The Parasail Safety Council is set to publish the 2011 Commercial Parasail Operating Guidelines ("CPOG") that contains sweeping reforms and equipment upgrades that target parasail fatalities.
ORLANDO, FL - June 12, 2011. When released on or before the end of this month, ("CPOG") will be circulated to all commercial parasail operators, associations, insurance providers along with state and federal agencies having jurisdiction over the parasailing industry nationwide. The new guidelines are the most comprehensive regulations ever published and were based on safety studies, accident data reports, equipment failure analysis. It will unify all previously published guidelines or regulations from various sources into a single controlling document.
